Definition

Otolaryngology or ENT (ear, nose and throat) is the branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck disorders. The ENT deals with diseases like throat infections and reasons of illnesses like enlarged tonsils in the throat. Ear problems like deafness and its treatment and other. Nose problems like sinusitis, nasal tumors and bleeding are few of them. ENT specialists also treat the infants and children as specialists for those diseases in their age group.
